  • Built by Royston - 30 years experience with diesel power

A robust system designed to operate in the punishing engine room environment, monitor engine parameters and automatically transfer engine data to a secure web based management dashboard for the shore based technical team to monitor and evaluate.

Enginei enables both crew and shore based technical management to remotely monitor live engine performance data and conditioning of their main engines and the performance and activity of the ship as a whole. Operators can gain engine reliability benefits and a valuable insight into the operational profile of ships in the fleet.

How it works:

Measurements are taken at 5-second intervals and displayed on a dedicated monitor in the engine control room or on the bridge. At 60-second intervals the measurements are logged and at the clients chosen time period, the logged records are transmitted via satellite to Royston’s secure, shore-based database server where the data is presented through our web based management portal.

Rather than reviewing raw data, the dashboard automatically packages the data into summary reports, showing edited highlights which focus on areas of particular interest. The ship manager can then gain a high-level overview of the vessel condition before investigating any areas of concern.

Technical support partner

The owner can undertake the day-to-day analysis of engine condition data or alternatively Roystons expert diesel engineers can technically support the vessels on behalf of the ship’s management. This has the advantages of reducing the workload of the superintendents whilst continuously monitoring engine behaviour for signs of arising issues. By using Royston as a technical partner, you gain the benefit of our 30 years of experience on a regular basis, rather than just at overhauls or breakdown.
