Fuel and maintenance are often the two most significant costs of vessel operation and rising fuel costs only increases the pressure for ship owners and operators to keep their fleet profitable. This, combined with the difficulties in attracting highly skilled engineers, necessary to maintain their existing fleet and an ever increasing workload for shore based technical management makes it a tough job. Royston saw that our customers needed a solution and so using our 30 years of diesel engineering experience we developed a product that would minimise the cost of engine failure; reduce fuel usage and management workload whilst maximising profitability.
